She has been with the Centre for Sexuality since 2012. As Director of Programs, she provides support and mentorship to the leadership team, develops organizational partnerships, and ensures successful implementation of programs and projects. She has been actively involved in scaling two major programs at the Centre. She loves spending time with her partner, four-year-old daughter, and twelve-year-old dog, traveling, listening to live music, and going camping. Claire Crooks (Director @Centre for School Mental Health, Western University / Fourth R) Claire Crooks is a clinical psychologist and professor at the Faculty of Education (Western University). She is the Director of the Centre for School Mental Health, where she and her team develop, implement, and evaluate mental health promotion and violence prevention programs in a range of school and community settings. Claire’s research looks at the gaps between science, practice and policy related to the healthy development of children and youth. Claire also co-directs the School Mental Health Ontario Innovation and Scale-Up Lab, which seeks to examine and advance evidence-based and implementation-sensitive approaches within school mental health and mobilize research and practice evidence to enhance the quality, consistency, scalability, and sustainability of mental health approaches in Ontario schools. For more about Claire’s research projects see: https://www.csmh.uwo.ca/research/index.html Lianne Lee (Project Manager @Shift: The Project to End Domestic Violence) Lianne Lee holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Research, and Bachelor’s Degrees in Education, Economics and Society, and English. Since 2006, she has led a broad range of community programs and systems-change initiatives that seek to enhance the wellbeing of children and youth from diverse backgrounds. In addition to directing the Alberta Healthy Youth Relationships Strategy at Shift: The Project to End Domestic Violence, Lianne has helped to lead the design of a provincial primary prevention framework for Alberta to guide policies and practices that stop violence before it starts. Lianne is currently a project manager at Shift, where she is leading the design, implementation, evaluation, and scaling of an innovative approach to engage parents in the prevention of adolescent dating violence, ConnectED Parents.
